AI impacts on quality of life and clinical trial

        

AI models can make sense of many kinds of evidence from large amounts of data and identify abnormalities. They can spot inconsistencies and unusual cases of behaviour, allowing clinicians to focus on those specific cases rather than missing potential diagnosis. AI is particularly useful when there isn’t sufficient data available to support the use of a particular procedure. Therefore, AI can potentially improve the quality of human life by analysing large amounts of information to make recommendations on improving the quality of life for patients.


AI increases efficiency in clinical trials

AI models can speed up the process of identifying promising drugs or compounds, allowing researchers to expedite trial enrollment and allow patients to participate sooner. If necessary, AI is capable of providing results that are scientifically sound and consistent with what humans would have done if they were conducting the same analysis, saving significant time. What makes AI beneficial to hospitals, clinics, and others in healthcare?


AI is helpful not only in healthcare but in most parts of life. First, although some people believe AI to be too intelligent, it actually has its limitations. With AI-powered robots cleaning a kitchen, detecting broken glass in a house, and even driving cars on autopilot, AI can take multiple jobs out of the equation to free staff members from doing things like repetitive manual labor. Second, AI is becoming extremely accurate, especially now that it uses big data to extract knowledge and learn everything from experiences that humans can’t process. Even the smartest robot vacuum cleaners and voice assistants are nowhere near as good at processing language as human brains.


So, should hospitals make machines run like humans to get better results? Well, there is no perfect answer as to when artificial intelligence should be replaced by human thinking, but AI should be considered just as important for healthcare. As AI becomes smarter and more sophisticated, human input will become less necessary, and other technologies (such as robotics) will become more efficient. Ultimately, AI models in healthcare will play a pivotal role in treating all disease types and providing advanced predictive capabilities. On top of that, AI can help boost the safety of medications and treatments so that they are safer and more effective. That means AI models can cut costs and improve the quality of care in the long run.
